The scheme incorporates large-scale surface water drainage systems with an underground storm-water storage system incorporating flow control into the main sewer. Works also include the diversion of a surface water drain along with on-site drainage, foundations and beam and block floor slabs.

Description: A development of twelve houses on the site of a derelict mill. Due to the topography of the site, the scheme incorporates extensive reinforced in-situ concrete retaining walls with a Visqueen tanking system. Works also include the diversion of a United Utilities controlled surface water drain along with on-site drainage, pile cropping, foundations and both in-situ concrete and beam and block floor slabs.

The scheme incorporates adopted highways and sewers and due to the topography of the site there is extensive sheet piling and reinforced in-situ concrete retaining walls. Works also include the installation of services along with on-site drainage, pile cropping, foundations and both in-situ concrete and beam and block floor slabs.

Description: New housing development including adopted foul and surface water drainage, adopted highway works, foundations and ground-bearing floor slabs.
Dudland Hollins, Gisburn
Client: B&E Boys Ltd
Description: Private house with in-situ concrete basement, in-situ concrete staircase an extensive hard and soft landscaping works. The dwelling also boasts a geothermal ground source heating exchange system along with a septic tank based foul drainage system.
Murrays’ Mills. Ancoats, Manchester
Client: Wates
Description: Work to convert this historic former cotton mills into a residential development. Murrays’ Mills is a complex situated on land between Jersey Street and the Rochdale Canal in the Ancoats area of Manchester. Originally built for brothers Adam and George Murray, the first mill on the site, Old Mill, commenced in 1797 and is the oldest surviving urban steam-powered cotton spinning mill in the world. Work also involved carefully excavating the previously filled canal basin under the supervision of archaeology experts.

Description: Residential and commercial project on the site of an old mill. Works include the construction of in-situ concrete basement walls and new foul and surface water drainage installations including connections to systems.
Apartment complex, Preston

Description: New apartment complex in the centre of Preston city centre. The development included basement car parking, Section 104 adopted foul and surface water drainage and extensive hard and soft landscaping.

Description: In-situ concrete retaining walls as part of the adopted road works including the adoption of existing services and drainage and the re-instatement of the surrounding land.

Description: This development included demolition of an existing property, bulk excavation works, a raft foundation and basement wall construction complete with the installation of a Visqueen tanking system.
